Connection facilities is standard. Bring your laptop and connect as you normally do:
  • Video resolution recommended: VGA 1280 x 1024
  • Audio: Standard stereo 3.5 mm jack, "line out" (green)

We do also have a DVD player you can run your demo from, but fiddling with devices and buttons "on line" is not recommended (most of us have tried :-) Running DVD from own laptop is of course the best.
 
 
Fixed net: Statoil intranet / external net is available from podium
 
 
Wi-Fi net: Telenor Wireless Hotspots.
 
 
For demonstrations in the Trondheim Cinema - Nova 1
 
 
For the two-day conference events in 2007 & 2008 we used the cinema. We might try again in 2011. It's the largest "Home Video" installation you can dream of, and the sound is superb :-)

Connect your laptop from podium - via the Crestron system
Video: connect from your laptop, with VGA connector.
PC: 1280 x 1024 - 4:3 format
Xbox 1280 x 720 - 16:9 format

For real high resolution demo, DVI output can also be routed to the cinema machine. It is a 4K Sony projector, via a "scaler".
LINUX machines: As far as we know, there are no problem issues
